I attended the first ladies only Boot Camp in May. It was brilliant and I was very glad to discover by the end of the four weeks, my previously dire fitness level had returned to what it was back in June 2006 which was just before I got married and was in peak shape!
I already attend and enjoy Kelly's classes. I always find them great fun, and Kelly is so motivating and inspirational and everyone in the class is made to feel equally welcome, whether they have attended for ages or it's their first session!
With Boot Camp it was the same - Kelly created a great feeling of camaraderie amongst us all and it made it friendly and fun which made the difference as we were working really hard!
At the beginning of Boot Camp, I felt quite nervous when Kelly mentioned the R word (run) - however, the way that she got us into running, breathing correctly etc and building up slowly really worked.
I broke my leg when I was young and couldn't walk for nearly two years so thought I would never be able to run again! I got the biggest sense of achievement when I actually managed to run my furthest on the last day of Boot Camp!
I would heartily recommend Kelly's Boot Camp to anyone - it's brilliant!

Just to say thank you so much for an enjoyable boot camp!!!! If you can really enjoy all that fresh air and exercise (Especially when it is pouring with rain!) I completely agree with Lynnette's statement, I was only doing the boot camp to improve my fitness but, I did not realize that I would gain more. The friendship and camaraderie that we built up over the four weeks was amazing, it made all of us work harder. There was not a competitive edge to it but more of spurring each other on. We all wanted to do well and in order to do that we supported each other.
My personal fitness levels improved 10 fold and I lost a total of 25cm off my waist, hips and boobs! Not only that but the scales showed a loss of 6Ib. I didn't lose that sort of weight at Slimming World and I had been there 5 months!!! So overall I am pleased with the results, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Kelly's Boot Camp. Not only is she a fantastic Role Model, Leader and Motivator but a Good Friend. Not many people can say that about their fitness instructors.

I decided to try Kelly's Boot Camp as I had stayed the same weight for some time and knew I needed to try something completely different and learn some new exercises I could do myself. My first initial thought were Oh God what have I signed myself up for because I'm not a morning person and I would have to get up at 5.30am in the morning for 3 days a week and then go on to do a normal day of work and then exercise in the morning. But I was pleasantly surprised and absolutely loved every minute of it. Not only had I met lots of nice people but I felt good for getting up early and it set me up for the rest of the day. I learnt so many exercises that I never would have dreamed of doing including an great killer abs workout and I always put push - ups into my exercise routines now. The walking lunges were a challenge but I knew they were working and I really wanted to get good results. The crunch time was the last week and we were all really nervous about the results, I personally could not really notice a difference in myself I felt I had toned up but not extremely. The fitness re-assessment arrived and I was shocked at the results, not only had I lost a little weight but I lost cms of my measurements and improved every aspect of my fitness. I was so happy and thankful to Kelly because the boot camp gave me that little extra that I needed to make a difference to myself. Its definitely a great thing to do if you need a short amount of time to get in shape perhaps before a holiday and there is no doubt that I will be doing it again soon, but I am enjoying the lay in at the moment.

Kelly first informed me of her intention of running a Boot Camp at the end of one of her spinning classes. I have always thoroughly enjoyed Kelly's classes and found her to be incredibly passionate about her work and decided I would/I was going to join. I was a competitive swimmer for over ten years and retired just over three years ago, since then my exercise rates have significantly reduced and consequently so did my fitness. I have always been more of a water baby and found exercise on land more challenging. By participating in this boot camp my initial goal was to improve my fitness levels again and allow my body to positively adapt to land based training. The prospects of getting up pre 6.00am again after many years was quite daunting but the excellent group cohesion we seem to develop almost instantly soon made the early mornings something I would look forward to. Kelly's diverse expertise lead to a great variety in activities and she always devoted her time helping people on an individual bases when requested. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable and I was privileged to be taking part in this experience with such a nice group of people. By participating in boot camp I made some lovely friends and I have kept up running ever since. Kelly is a fantastic motivator with a large range of knowledge; she is easily approachable and always makes you feel at ease. Overall I was very pleased with my own achievements and my strength in particular showed a big increase. I feel much fitter after the whole experience and would definitely recommend it to others.
